Mason Jar Addict

Hello lovelies!

Last week my mom shipped me 18 vintage turquoise Mason jars from South Dakota.

Most of them were 50 cents each from yard sales.

I know- I wish I could have seen everything that she did at those yard sales, too.

:)



I used a few them for my guest post over at Tatertots and Jello today.

Dear Blogger...

...I really don't want to break up, but trust me when I say this; it's not ME, it's YOU.

I have the flu.

My husband just came home with some food and some cold/flu medication.

While I am well enough to at least keep my eyes open, this post is going up early.

Pre-Tween Bedroom

My daughter is seven years old.

Long gone are the days of Disney princess decor and character bedding.

I loved her old bedroom.

LOVED.

And her tutu bedskirt?

It's still the most viewed blog post here at Sugar and Dots.

The bedskirt has changed and so has everything else.

Her bedroom at our new house is much smaller.

However, there is a playroom here, so she has more space to herself rather than her stuff.

Decorating a smaller space wasn't nearly as difficult as I had envisioned once I realized that her belongings could all be placed into the playroom.

She changed color schemes and bedding and calls it her "grown up girl room".

It's not quite finished, but it's now fully unpacked.

Success.

I have a few projects coming to this room this summer, which means soon these will be the "before" photos.

You should be totally excited about that.
