Halloween Mantel (Craft Idea)

I'm not a huge fan of Halloween.

I know, I know.

Sorry.

I like looking at all of your decor- I do.

But for my own house, it's not my favorite.

Until I saw this idea in a magazine:



I turned the photo on my mantel into something a little more Halloween-esque.

The supplies:

There are actual costume templates you can use on a cutting machine (like a Cricut), but I simply drew everything on paint chip samples and taped the "costumes" onto the glass with tiny pieces of tape.

From left to right: witch, wizard, dragon, and pirate.

The perfect amount of Halloween for me.

What I Whipped Up Wednesday Double Feature + Giveaway!

Hello lovelies.

What I Whipped Up Wednesday is never scheduled- I always type it up and hit "publish".

And then I refresh my blog and watch the links trickle in.

It's my favorite thing about Tuesdays.

This Tuesday I will be at my uncle's funeral and spending the afternoon with my family.

It will be the first time in years that my parents and my brothers will be in the same room together.

And I get to hug all of them.

My brothers have already flown in and arrived safely.

I am really not looking forward to tomorrow, but I am thankful that I get to see everyone that I love.
